Standalone LCD
Deze schermen worden gebruikt zoals de monitor van een gewone PC: ze hebben een voetje om de stabiliteit te garanderen.
Een andere manier van monteren is met een arm die aan één van de hoofdsteunen van de voorste zetels bevestigd wordt.
Ze zijn verkrijgbaar met volgende opties:
- touchscreen, waarbij de bediening van de functies gebeurt door het scherm simpelweg aan te raken.
- ingebouwde TV-tuner
Bovendien zijn ze verkrijgbaar met verschillende aansluitingen:
- met de gewone gele chinch aanluiting
- met een VGA-aansluiting voor aansluiting op een gewone PC
